Governing Board Meeting Summary - 31st August 2026

The Governing Board held a Public Hearing regarding the sufficiency of textbooks and instructional materials, per Resolution 26-27-02, providing members of the public an opportunity to comment. There were no comments from the public.

The Governing Board and Superintendent Campopiano discussed the subcommittee findings from their meeting on 26th August and how to further fine-tune the roles of each committee and school liaisons to best add value to the district.

Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, Jan Rogenski, presented Resolution 26-27-02 which certifies that the District has provided each pupil with sufficient textbooks or instructional materials. Board approved, 5-0.

Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, Jan Rogenski, presented a recommendation to approve the annual Certification of Instructional Materials which certifies that the District is in compliance with all regulations regarding instructional material expenditures and that all core materials purchased are aligned to content standards.  Board approved, 5-0.

Director of Construction/Maintenance, Steve Miller, requested approval of American Modular Systems Change Order #2 in the amount of $7,511.80 for the Walnut Heights Elementary School Modular Building Project. Board approved, 5-0.

Director of Construction/Maintenance, Steve Miller, requested approval for the Notice of Completion for the Walnut Heights Elementary School AMS Modular Building Project. Board approved, 5-0.
