Superintendent Search
The Walnut Creek School District Governing Board is conducting an Executive Search for the District’s next Superintendent.
Leadership Associates, an executive search firm, was selected on 9th March 2026 to advise the Board in this important process.

Community Input Sessions & Survey
The Governing Board of Walnut Creek School District invited all stakeholders of our community to be part of the process. The feedback provided will help guide the recruitment and interview process in selecting our next Superintendent.
To allow space for everyone’s voice to be heard, we hosted open community forums on 24th and 26th March, as well as gathering community input through an online survey which closed on 27th March.

To ensure this is a collaborative and inclusive process, the Board is providing an anonymous online survey for students, staff, parents, and our community to have a say in the process. We encourage you to participate by following the link below to provide your input.
What’s Next?
Using the information gathered from the community during our open forum sessions and online survey, Leadership Associates will develop a position description to be used in advertising and recruiting applicants for our next Superintendent. This process will take place during the month of April.
