Recent changes to California law, including Senate Bill 848, have established new safety requirements for certain school volunteers, including annual mandated reporter training and additional screening requirements based on the nature of a volunteer's role. In response, the District has updated its volunteer procedures to ensure compliance with state law while continuing to provide safe and welcoming learning environments for all students.

Transfers IN:  If you reside outside of the Walnut Creek School District boundary and wish to attend a WCSD school, you must contact your resident school district to submit an InterDistrict Transfer Request.

Transfers OUT:  Families who reside within the Walnut Creek School District boundary who would like to request an InterDistrict Transfer to another district may email our enrollment team or stop by the WCSD District Office to request an application.
