Transfers IN: If you reside outside of the Walnut Creek School District boundary and wish to attend a WCSD school, you must contact your resident school district to submit an InterDistrict Transfer Request.
Transfers OUT: Families who reside within the Walnut Creek School District boundary who would like to request an InterDistrict Transfer to another district may email our enrollment team or stop by the WCSD District Office to request an application.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TAX ELECTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the qualified electors of the Walnut Creek School District of Contra Costa County, California, that in accordance with the provisions of the Education Code and the Government Code of the State of California, an election will be held on June 2, 2026, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of the District the measure summarized as follows:
Walnut Creek School District Quality Teaching/ Academic Instruction Measure.
Shall Walnut Creek School District’s measure providing locally-controlled funding for quality academic programs in math, science, engineering, technology, reading, music/ arts, preparing students for high school, college, and careers; attract/ retain qualified teachers; and maintain manageable class sizes by levying a $98 parcel tax for nine years, with senior exemptions, annual inflation adjustments, independent audits/ oversight, and all funds (approximately $1,500,000 annually) benefiting local elementary and middle school students, be adopted?
