The Governing Board meeting will be held in person at:

Walnut Creek School District Office
960 Ygnacio Valley Road
Walnut Creek, CA 94596
 
The Governing Board will meet in Closed Session at 5:00p.m. on the following subjects:
  • G.C. 54957: Public Employee Appointment/Discussion - Certificated Management
  • G.C. 54957: Public Employee Appointment/Discussion - Superintendent

The Governing Board meeting will reconvene to Open Session at 6:00 p.m.

The Governing Board meeting will hold Public Hearings on the following topics:
  • Proposed Walnut Creek School District Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) 2026-2027
  • Proposed Walnut Creek School District Budget 2026-2027
  • 2026-2027 Balance in Excess of Minimum Reserves

The Governing Board will hear the following information items:
  • Proposed 2026-2027 WCSD Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and Local Indicators
  • 2025-2026 Estimated Actuals and Proposed 2026-2027 Original Budget

The Governing Board will hear the following agenda items for action:
  • Consent Calendar
  • Walnut Creek Teachers Association (WCTA) 2026-2027 Tentative Agreement and Benefits MOU
  • California School Employees Association (CSEA) Chapter 202 New Job Description - Health Attendant
  • California School Employees Association (CSEA) Chapter 202 Reduction in Force MOU
  • Terms of Employment for Management and Confidential Employees
 
Governing Board meetings are open to the public and are also viewable via LIVE STREAM access.
