Dear WCSD Community,

The Governing Board is thankful to the WCSD community for its strong participation in the community survey and input sessions that informed the development of the Superintendent Position Profile.  A robust group of applicants responded to the Profile, which speaks to the strength and desirability of our district.  We are pleased to have a group of candidates with an impressive range of administrative and educational experiences.

The Governing Board will now work with our consultants from Leadership Associates to select the candidates who best match the criteria set forth in the Position Profile.  In-person interviews will begin in May.  We are confident that out of this deep pool, we will find an outstanding superintendent who will be a great fit for our district.  We look forward to introducing him or her to the community by the end of this school year, with a start date of July 1, 2026.  Updates will continue to be added to the district's webpage.

The Board is deeply grateful for our engaged community and the partnerships we have built to engage, inspire, and empower all learners.
