    AGE REQUIREMENTS

    WCSD strictly follows California Education Code on age eligibility for entry to TK and Kindergarten programs.  Please carefully read the age eligibility requirements below.  You must enroll your student in the age appropriate grade level per the guidelines listed below.  

     2024-2025 School Year 

    Kindergarten:
    Children who turn five years of age on or before September 1, 2024 (born on or before Sept. 1, 2019) are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten only.

    Transitional Kindergarten:
    If your child turns five years of age on or between September 2, 2024 to June 2, 2025 (born on or between Sept. 2, 2019 and June 2, 2020), you may only enroll in the TK program.  

    Please follow the link below to access the online registration portal for TK/Kindergarten registration.  Please note, current WCSD enrolled TK students do not need to register again for Kindergarten.
