WCSD is committed to supporting the Emotional Wellness of our students. In June 2021, the WCSD Governing Board adopted new WCSD Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Standards. Staff and teachers have been trained in the area of Social and Emotional Learning and a comprehensive tiered Wellness Program has launched. Each school site offers a Wellness Center for students seeking a quiet space during unstructured times. Tiered supports are available for students on an as needed basis and are integrated into the district's Multi-tiered Sytstem of Supports (MTSS).
