Michael Corritone

Principal, Indian Valley Elementary

 Michael Corritone comes to Indian Valley with 25 years experience as an educator, most recently as an elementary principal in the Piedmont Unified School District.  Throughout his career as an instructional leader, he has worked to shape a school culture where collaborative partnerships, responsive instructional practices and student learning & well-being have been the foundation for meeting the needs of all students.  Mr. Corritone's connection to Walnut Creek runs deep having grown up in the community, attending Walnut Heights and Walnut Creek Intermediate.  He and his wife, Angie, have two wonderful boys and have lived in close by Danville for many years.
