Enhancing Learning. Strengthening Schools. Investing in Our Community. What Is Measure J?
Approved by voters in 2022, Measure J is transforming Walnut Creek School District's elementary campuses to engage, inspire, and empower every student. Through this $134M bond, we are upgrading classrooms, common spaces, and outdoor environments to support creativity, collaboration, and well-being. These updates reflect WCSD's vision for modern, flexible, and secure schools where students can thrive. With carefully planned summer construction schedules, completion is expected by Fall 2027. WCSD continues to ensure a seamless learning experience, while making long-lasting improvements to keep our schools innovative, accessible, and welcoming for generations to come.
