Walnut Creek Intermediate (WCI) is built on a strong foundation of parent support, community involvement, and a deep commitment to providing the best possible instruction for our students. WCI is committed to providing a rigorous and engaging curriculum, utilizing best teaching practices; cultivating student, staff and community pride in our school; creating an environment in which students celebrate and respect diversity and accept personal responsibility; utilizing resources to provide interventions for students at risk; and building partnerships among students, staff, parents and community through on-going communication. Our community is both culturally and ethnically diverse.
