Superintendent Morgan thanked our Governing Board for their wholehearted support of our schools and community. Ms. Morgan presented each of them with a proclamation declaring January as School Board Recognition Month.

At our 17th November Board meeting, it was approved to poll the community regarding a possible parcel tax in 2026. Charles Heath of TeamCivX provided an update on parcel tax measure planning, including Feasibility Assessment (current stage), Awareness Building, Measure Development, and Advocacy Campaigning.

Governing Board Trustees Wenlei Johnson, Aimee Moss, Zetta Reicker, and Sarah Talach reported on their attendance & experiences at the 2025 CSBA Annual Education Conference in Sacramento, 12/3 through 12/5.

Jose Lopez, Senior Accountant at WCSD's independent auditor, Christy White & Associates, presented the District Audited Financial Statement and the Measure D & Measure J Bond Performance Audits for the year ending June 30, 2025. Unmodified opinions in each area were issued, which is the best opinion you can get. Board approved, 5-0.
