WCSD is grateful to the parents and community for your support and generosity in passing Measure D. This $60 million local school bond will provide students with safe, 21st century learning environments by addressing critical renovation, modernization and safety needs at District schools including upgrades to classrooms, libraries and computer networks. Measure D funds will upgrade facilities, infrastructure and improve energy efficiency, in all Walnut Creek Schools.
The WCSD Governing Board is seeking qualified, interested community members to serve on the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee. This independent committee is responsible for informing the public about the expenditure of bond proceeds. If you are interested in applying to serve on the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee, applications can be completed online, mailed or delivered to the District Office. The Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee will meet be approved at the October 17, 2016 Board Meeting.
